Senior Android Software Engineer

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
5+ years of experience in Android development with a deep understanding of Kotlin and Java.
Strong proficiency with Android SDK, Android Studio, and related development tools.
Experience with Android frameworks such as Jetpack, Room, WorkManager, and more.
Solid understanding of design patterns and best practices for Android development.
Familiarity with RESTful APIs to connect Android applications to back-end services.
Strong knowledge of Google’s design principles and Android interface guidelines.
Experience with performance optimization and memory management.
Proficiency in version control systems, such as Git.
Excellent problem-solving, debugging, and analytical skills.
Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Design, develop, and maintain high-quality Android applications.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product managers, designers, and other developers to create innovative features.
Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code while following best practices.
Optimize applications for performance, scalability, and responsiveness.
Debug, troubleshoot, and resolve complex issues to ensure seamless application functionality.
Stay up-to-date with the latest Android development trends and tools to ensure the team remains at the forefront of technology.
Lead technical discussions and contribute to architectural decisions to enhance the Android platform.
Mentor junior developers and provide technical guidance within the team.
