It is not easy to talk about our talented, hard-working, young and humble designer Shohrukh Shavkiyev, but there is nothing impossible for the marketing team. Today we talked to our designer and got answers to the most pressing questions.
— How did you get into the field of design?
— I am interested in this field from a young age. Previously, I would have liked to work in Photoshop. Then I worked on freelance taking orders.
— How old are you from this age? After all, now you have entered 16.
— From the age of 12)
— What kind of orders did you work with in freelance?
— Mostly in graphic design.
— How did you get to the UIC Group?
— In 2019, participating in the Digital Generation project, I got acquainted with Muradkhoja aka, currently the director of the UIC Group team. Soon I saw them in their blog post “we need talented designers " and sent them my portfolio.
Murodkhoja aka said: "If you are talented, you just have to work on yourself. If you want to work with us, I will find you a mentor and you will have an internship in our company."
— How long did your practice last? And what did you learn?
— It lasted 3 months. In addition to Photoshop, I learned branding, working in Illustrator, UX / UI. I just switched from graphic design to UX / UI.
— UX / UI is described differently by all designers. Can you explain it as an example in simple language for our subscribers?
— UX / UI Let's look at this design in the example of a chair: The UX is the function of the chair, its ease of use. And the UI is its look, its beauty, its style.
— Thank you. Have you ever taken a course? Can you talk about that?
— Yes, during my internship I taught graphic design, Photoshop and Illustrator at the Co-Learning Center.
— A book is being written about you. If you talk about it.
— One day "I heard a lot about you from the telegram Dilmurod Dilmurodov. If you don't mind, I want to add you to my book, which is called "30 Years of Independence" and contains information about the youngest and most talented young people in our country".- he said. I agree.
— Excellent. What are your future goals?
— I want to reach the top in design.
— Achieve your divine purpose. I want to ask about the UIC Group. 3 advantages of working in the company:
1) a fast growing IT company. Team members grow as well;
2) the team is like a family - everyone helps each other;
3) There is a lot of research and a lot to learn because there are projects in different fields.
— Your advice to young people who are just entering the field of design
— In the beginning, even if you have to work for free or cheaply, then work. This will help you to collect portfolios and thereby agree on your hand to work.
