Today we are going to talk about QA testing, an important profession for IT companies. One of the talented members of our team, our QA & QS engineer Kilichbek Kurbanov, will share his experience.
— How important is QA testing now?
— QA is equally important not only in IT but also in other areas of manufacturing and services. Testing is no stranger to us, if we look at any system, of course, someone is engaged in quality control. In the world of technology, QA testing examines the relationship between software quality and multi-process programming. Sometimes you have to argue with programmers for 2-4 pixels in the interface.
— Abroad, some companies hire 10-15 volunteers on the street for QA testing and collect feedback from them. Do you do the same?
— It's a great experience, but I wouldn't have received feedback from non-professional passengers. Even so, owning one is still beyond the reach of the average person. Without clear analysis and experience, criticism of your work may not make sense. And I trust experienced mentors and colleagues in this regard.
— So, not everyone can become a QA tester, right?
— Similarly, knowledge of standards, UI&UX and programming fundamentals should be the message. It is necessary to see-observe the self-conduct, ritual and habits of people. Does the products work the same on all platforms? How can there be risks and crashes? Finding answers to dozens of similar questions is actually our task.
— QA testers are also needed in all projects?
— Yes it is necessary, but there is also the problem of limitations, Well Project manager or the programmers themselves can test small projects. But for 10-15 years of promising projects, of course, it will be necessary to attract a professional QA engineer.
— QA testers are in great demand in Uzbekistan?
— I assure you-that professional QA has always been in demand. Although this sphere in our country is not very famous, it already has its own applicants.
— Are there courses in this field in Uzbekistan?
— I have not yet heard whether we have it or not, but there is an opportunity to find and use such courses in the network.
